Mega Millions September 4, 2026: 61 Repeats

The number 61 was the sole main number to carry over into the September 4, 2026, Mega Millions draw from the prior result. It appeared with 6, 26, 34 and 59, while the Mega Ball was 24. The published jackpot label was $193 Million. That one-number overlap is the clearest point of continuity with September 1, though it has no bearing on any later drawing.

A 3-to-2 even and odd split

The five main numbers had a sum of 186. Three were even—6, 26 and 34—and two were odd—59 and 61. That gives the draw a slightly even-heavy main-number split. The Mega Ball, 24, was even as well, but it is separate from both the five-number sum and the reported 3-to-2 split.

At the endpoints, 6 was the minimum and 61 was the maximum, creating a spread of 55. In plain language, the spread is the distance between the highest and lowest main numbers. The result covered a substantial portion of that interval, with three values at 34 or below and two values in the upper 50s or low 60s.

No consecutive pair appeared among the five main numbers. That means none of the neighboring values in the ordered result differed by exactly one. Even the two highest values, 59 and 61, were separated by 60 rather than sitting directly next to each other.

The sum fell by 12 from September 1

The range also narrowed between the two results. September 1 extended from 1 to 63, a spread of 62, while September 4 extended from 6 to 61, a spread of 55. The newer spread was seven points smaller because its lowest number was higher and its highest number was lower.

The odd-even balance changed as well. Four of the September 1 main numbers were odd, compared with two on September 4. These comparisons simply describe two completed Mega Millions results. They do not establish a trend or predict the numbers, sum, range or balance of any future draw.
